Writing the first entry of your blog comes with its own set of pressures.

But it makes me feel a lot better that this will be read by my mostly friends and family who love me and who will be fairly kind, for now. So the question here is, is this going to be yet another travel blog? Reviews, recommendations, cities, mountains and the likes. Umm…. No! That would be a tad ridiculous and monotonous and pretentious. All of these things I take pride in not being!

This is the story of a girl , who at 33 decided to chronicle her travels, to write about the places she has been to and will be going, and the way they made her feel. This is going to be about real things, about endings and new beginnings. This is going to be about the ocean, salty skin and the harsh sands. This is going to be about the boy whom she loved and the boy who broke her heart. This is going to be about her friends who put it back together and her dog who stood by it all. This is going to be about hope and pain and tears and mind numbing laughter! Old friends, new adventures, old lanes and new lovers. This going to about her journey through everyday life, sometimes glamorous, sometimes completely insane but mostly hopeful.

I hope someday this inspires you to live a life of freedom, live a life away from what others tell you how you should live it, and find a sweet space in this beautiful world to call your own, where you are happy. Ok, happiness is overrated. Lets say content. And most of all I hope it makes you feel passionate about your life! Just as I’m hoping it makes me feel about mine!

For a life lived without passion is nothing.
